VOXEL is an array of light-catching semi-transparent fabric that explores the sense of physicality that projected light can induce. The spatial presence of the fabric screens with the projection of varying bands of color fills the visual field of the observer. This perception of size with the projection of objects moving in familiar patters connote objects of mass and tangibility. The taut fabric strips introduce a contradiction through the unforgivably sharp, distinct bands of pure color displayed on a malleable, soft fabric, allowing people to walk through the field of light.
